What if we speculated for a minute that we were alone in the universe considering how big and rapidly expansive the universe is, it would almost make you sick to the core if we were a fluke of creation to be alone in the universe is what keeps me up at night regarding how far we have looked with telescopes. We have found nothing yet, and it is terrifying to think it, even for a few seconds, and we are only a slow growing species of 8 billion and rising.
I hope there is some form of life out there, but do not hold your breath about it. What a scary speculation this would be!!
