Should communication networks like WhatsApp, be monitored more closely by law enforcement for gangs and organized crime? WhatsApp is great for keeping in contact with others but it can have a much more sinister use, it could be used to organize a large number of people in one area to protest, with crime in rural areas out of hand and rising of break-ins around the rural area, should law enforcement have more powers with regarding encryptions and other networks. I will speculate a bit here but privacy is a good thing to a degree regarding people’s safety should a line be drawn. Safety is key now going forward in this unstable landscape and political landscape. I speculate more news will come out on this soon.
