China’s Hubei province on July 6th and 7th was recently hit by rare tornadoes. At least 10 people were killed, and hundreds were injured.
The Storms also caused floods and landslides elsewhere in China, with hundreds of people evacuated; this is considered rare for the region.
Full rescue efforts are ongoing. This is a clear sign that climate change and severe weather are on the rise in China, but this is a standout event for Tornadoes in the region.
