Major New Online Shopping Rule
New customs charges are now in effect for goods under 150 euros entering Ireland from outside the EU. That puts pressure on the ultra-cheap import model used by platforms such as Temu, Shein, and some third-party marketplace sellers.
I speculate this could, in fact, be for retailers in the EU, as people possibly go back to shopping more based on the EU marketplace. Could this also be a big turn for hiring culture again, with less incentive to buy from outside the EU?
